Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to high quality and great affiliation with BIS for greater than 25 years’.
The household business was based in 1981 by P Arumugam alongside along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and friend MS Sundaram, producing pumps beneath the Deccan brand. This was adopted by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
