Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER project in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will provide 62 solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international analysis and development project to reveal the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is under construction in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.

Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
