KSB Group has won a contract to ship 14 large submersible motor pumps for flood management in Paraguay.

The KSB pumps will equip numerous pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” project. They shall be used to forestall future flooding during the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
The city of Pilar is located 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
