Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a model new FPSO being constructed for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps which may be 18m in length and the opposite 4 are methanol lift pumps which might be 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and built alongside the size of the pumps to watch the temperature of each bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank throughout installation guaranteeing that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains perfectly aligned, reducing vibration and wear throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps were independently witness tested and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps had been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore where the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump supply and installation had to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be installed into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than another deck above the pumps might be constructed. The first phase was accomplished efficiently over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning team supporting the client with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO might be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 subject, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. ร้านซ่อมเครื่องวัดความดัน will be equipped to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent on the field.
