Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to quality and wonderful association with BIS for greater than 25 years’.
The family enterprise was based in 1981 by P Arumugam alongside along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and friend MS Sundaram, producing pumps beneath the Deccan brand. This was adopted by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
