Cops catch final suspects in Pattaya theft of Chinese tourists

Cops caught all of the last suspects concerned in the robbery case focusing on Chinese vacationers in Pattaya on May 3. The arrests had been made at a border location in Thailand’s eastern Sa Kaeo province.
Yesterday morning, Pattaya Police apprehended the three remaining suspects linked to the robbery. Withheld were identified as 31 12 months old Sarawut Suthaphot, the alleged mastermind behind the theft, 26 12 months previous Nakarin Sae Teo, and 27 year previous Wanchai Kreedkrai.
The arrest took place near the natural border crossing point, close to the Aranyaprathet Border Checkpoint, inside the Khlong Luek sub-district of the Aranyaprathet district of Sa Kaeo province. The suspects had been taken into custody along with firearms and a few of the stolen belongings belonging to the Chinese victims.
During the investigation, all three suspects admitted to their involvement within the crime. They claimed that they mistakenly believed their targets had been a gaggle of wealthy Chinese businesspeople. However, upon finishing up the theft, they discovered that the victims have been odd Chinese vacationers.
After learning that the opposite two accomplices had been arrested by the police, the remaining three suspects tried to flee to Cambodia through the Chanthaburi province. They moved backwards and forwards between the two international locations till their funds were depleted, The Pattaya News reported.
Eventually, the suspects relocated to the Thai-Cambodian border in Sa Kaeo seeking employment. However, they by chance exposed their location by using a cell phone, leading to their seize by the police.
The suspects confessed that their motive for the robbery was pushed by their addiction to on-line playing. Following their arrest, the investigating group escorted all three males to the Khlong Luek Police Station to document their statements. They were subsequently transferred to the Pattaya Police Station for further questioning.
Upon inspecting the legal information of the perpetrators, the police found that Sarawut had previously confronted costs associated to drug offences. Nakarin had also been prosecuted for possession of Category 1 narcotics and involvement in unlawful gambling, whereas Wanchai had a history of prosecution related to unlawful playing activities..
